Peter McGuinness, Director of Multimedia Technology Marketing at Imagination Technologies, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the January 2015 Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically, McGuinness compares H.264 and H.265 video compression running on the company's video encoding and decoding hardware IP, as well as demonstrating selective region-of-interest compression in conjunction with a GPU-accelerated face detection algorithm.
