Martin Lass, Marketing Manager for 3D Imaging at Infineon Technologies, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the January 2017 Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically, Lass demonstrates a ToF depth sensor-based driver monitoring solution. Based on the company's REAL3 time-of-flight imager, this driver monitoring solution provides robust depth and amplitude data to detect the state of the driver in any sunlight condition. As such, it's possible to realize features such as exact head and eye positioning, as well as tracking and eye closure detection.
