Synopsys Demonstration of Embedded Vision Using YOLO at the 2017 ARC Processor Summit

Synopsys' Gordon Cooper demonstrates YOLO (You Only Look Once) on the DesignWare EV6x Embedded Vision Processor with CNN, at the 2017 ARC Processor Summit. The demo shows localization of bounding boxes around objects in the video, and identifies the objects. The CNN graph takes a frame of data in the image and determines the object through deep learning algorithms. The EV6x processor is running on a HAPS-80 FPGA-based platform. The EV6x is programmable and scalable, and can run any CNN graph from 880 to 3520 MACs. It also includes 1, 2 or 4 vector processors.

Here you’ll find a wealth of practical technical insights and expert advice to help you bring AI and visual intelligence into your products without flying blind.
