Max Larin, CEO and head of product development at XIMEA, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the May 2017 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Larin explains how with the help of Xilinx FPGAs, in particular Kintex® UltraScale™ and Artix™ 7 FPGAs, the PCI Express technology used in cameras and embedded vision systems is able to fit into remarkably compact form factors while still fulfilling all the major application requirements like robustness, high bandwidth, low latency, long and short distances, modularity and aggregation of image data streams from multiple cameras into a single cable.
