Lucian Vancea, Engineering Manager at Intel, demonstrates the company’s latest embedded vision technologies and products at the May 2018 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Vancea presents two live demonstrations of the Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X VPU, and its ability to deliver neural network, computer vision and imaging workloads with high performance, and at ultra-low power.
Modern embedded vision applications often require workloads drawn from the domains of imaging, computer vision, and machine learning. Compounding the challenge further is that these workloads are often required to run both concurrently, and in real-time. These demonstrations show the Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X VPU’s ability to address these workload challenges.
