Ahrensburg, September 18, 2019 – From November 18 to 21, Basler AG – the world’s leading manufacturer of industrial cameras – is showing its broad portfolio for Medical & Life Sciences applications for the first time at the Basler Life Sciences Vision Days 2019. During COMPAMED / MEDICA, the Basler Hospitality Suite will open its doors at the Tulip Inn directly next to the Düsseldorf trade fair grounds, also inviting guests to an evening event with presentations by experts. Visitors can look forward to fascinating features from the image processing company, which has been successful for over 30 years. Key topics for the event include Visions Systems for Deep Learning, Embedded Vision Solutions, the Medical & Life Sciences portfolio with the Basler MED ace including the MED Feature Sets, the ISO 13485 certification and the technology switch from CCD to CMOS.

Basler will use a fluorescence microscope application to demonstrate the high-performance Basler MED ace, showing the advantages of selected MED Feature Sets and presenting the functionality of the Color Calibrator step by step. Additionally, Basler will introduce the boost bundle, consisting of the boost CXP-12 camera and CXP-12 interface card to create high bandwidths and a low integration effort for the customer. The new dart BCON for MIPI Development Kit will round out the product presentation. It consists of a dart camera module with BCON for MIPI interface and a developer board equipped with an i.MX 8 processor from NXP.
