In this demonstration, Nextchip, in collaboration with PathPartner Technology, presents a driver monitoring system (DMS) solution based on its ADAS SoC, APACHE4. The solution includes both distraction and drowsiness detection algorithms, ported to the CEVA XM-4 DSP (delivering 77 GMAC of performance) in the APACHE4. Thanks to the power of a well-designed platform and well-optimized algorithms, the solution delivers both high frame rates and high accuracy.
