For the past seven years, the Edge AI and Vision Alliance has conducted a survey of developers of vision-based products. Respondents include a broad cross section of developers of end-products and building-block technologies. We do this survey to gain insights into choices of techniques, languages, tools, processors and APIs; product development challenges; and, trends over time in computer vision and visual AI.
The most important suppliers of building-block technologies for computer vision and visual AI applications use our survey results to guide their priorities and create better sensors, processors, tools and libraries. The results get published in a variety of forms including an annual white paper, Edge AI and Vision Alliance events, and presentations made available throughout the year on the Alliance website.
