Ahrensburg, January 28, 2022 – Basler AG, a leading supplier of computer vision products, has joined the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA). The company is the first from the machine vision sector to support the initiative.
The Alliance aims to bring together various industries from the Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) sectors to develop standards for 5G. This is intended to promote further technological development and simplify cooperation between different IT/OT providers across industries and national borders.
