On September 7, 2022 at 10:00 am Central Time, Alliance Member companies Plumerai and Texas Instruments will co-deliver the free webinar “Fast and Accurate People Detection Using a Single Arm Core.” From the event page:
Plumerai delivers a complete software solution for highly accurate people detection. Their AI models are tiny and fast, running at 25 fps on a single core Arm Cortex-A53 integrated on the TI Arm-based AM62x processor with a binary application size of 2.4MB.
In this webinar we’ll go over the steps involved in designing such a fast and small model. We’ll discuss target markets and use cases, our data acquisition strategy and the tooling we built to curate and analyze this data, and our binarized neural network technology that uses 1-bit processing. We’ll show a live demonstration running the people detection application on a Sitara AM62x development board.
Topics include:
- People detection use cases
- Key ingredients for an accurate and fast people detection AI
- Data collection and analysis tooling
- Training and model architecture
- Binarized neural networks
- Live demonstration on Sitara AM62x
