July 20, 2023 – e-con Systems’ 12MP MIPI CSI-2 camera module, which is capable of streaming 60fps at 12MP and 4K resolutions, is specifically designed to meet the high demands of various applications in the field of in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), automated microscopy, and fundus imaging.
This camera module is based on the Sony® Starvis™ IMX412 back-illuminated and stacked CMOS image sensor, and it can be directly connected to NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX / Orin Nano / AGX Orin development kits.

- High sensitivity: The peak quantum efficiency (QE) of 70% at 550nm and 30% at 840nm indicates the camera’s efficient light sensitivity within specific wavelength ranges. This enhances the camera’s ability to capture and utilize available light effectively, improving image quality and performance.
- Ultra-low light performance: Helps to capture high quality images even when the target scene has extremely low light or no light.
