Driver monitoring systems are enabling safer cars and roads, and saving lives. Lattice Semiconductor has developed a state-of-the-art DMS system leveraging an IR sensor, which can be deployed on an FPGA, CPU, GPU or accelerator. The solution can detect parameters such as driver gaze, eye and mouth opening to infer distraction and fatigue.
