Fahed Hassanhat, head of engineering at Sensor Cortek, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products in Synopsys’ booth at the 2024 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Hassanhat demonstrates his company’s latest ADAS neural network (NN) model, SmarterRoad, combining lane detection and open space detection.
SmarterRoad is a light integrated convolutional network that is composed of a common base network and two detection heads that can be embedded into resource-constraint hardware for real-world autonomous driving or driver assistance applications. Synopsys ARC NPX6 NPU IP is designed for a range of applications, including automotive, which requires high levels of safety and reliability. This demo showcases tradeoffs for Sensor Cortek’s NN model running on various NPX6 configurations
