David Jarmon, SVP of Worldwide Sales for Visionary.ai, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the September 2024 Edge AI and Vision Alliance Forum. Specifically, Jarmon demonstrates the company’s AI denoising solution—often described as “steroids for cameras”—on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Gen-3 Android platform.
In the demo, Visionary.ai’s real-time AI denoiser allows a 1-micron Sony IMX766 sensor to “see in the dark,” outperforming 1.2-micron sensors in flagship devices like the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung S24 Ultra. AI denoising in the Bayer domain enhances image quality, preserves fine details, and improves HDR and color fidelity, all while reducing noise. Visionary.ai’s denoising technology is also deployed across platforms like Nvidia, Intel, TI, and a range of ASIC and FPGA devices, as well as NPU IP from Synopsys, Ceva, Cadence, and others.
Visionary.ai’s ultra-low latency video denoising solution is easily adaptable to any embedded SoC with an NPU as well as FPGAs or GPUs. As the industry leader in real-time AI imaging software, Visionary.ai delivers sensor-enhancing AI denoising and a full software ISP for edge devices. These solutions power a wide range of sensors and applications, including medical imaging, robotics, automotive ADAS, surveillance, industrial/IoT imaging, professional and consumer cameras.
