With over 20 years of experience leading innovative mobile camera technology development at Samsung, CTO Yoon is expected to contribute to NAMUGA’s technological innovation and commercialization efforts.
During his 24-year tenure at Samsung, Mr. Yoon led the development of mobile cameras for the Galaxy series, achieving groundbreaking results, such as the industry’s first 200-megapixel camera, 10x zoom functionality, and iris recognition technology, gaining global recognition. Mr. Yoon, who holds 129 patents, is regarded as a top expert in the field of mobile camera technology, making him a notable choice for Namuga, which is pursuing innovation in advanced vision camera modules.
At NAMUGA, CTO Yoon will oversee not only the smartphone camera module development team but also the teams responsible for next-generation technologies, including the 3D sensing camera team and the micro-actuator development team. Under his leadership, NAMUGA’s development capabilities and technological prowess are expected to advance significantly, driving further growth and capability enhancement.
