What’s on tap at the premier conference for innovators adding AI and vision to products?

The full three-day program for the 2025 Embedded Vision Summit is here! Our main conference program on May 21-22 features 85+ talks in four tracks, covering every aspect of practical computer vision and AI.

Plus there are our Technology Exhibits, featuring more than 65 innovative providers of key building block technology for AI and computer vision—they’ll be showing hundreds of demos, and their top experts will be available to answer your questions.

You can look forward to a program packed with top-notch speakers, a bustling exhibit hall, a hands-on workshop hosted by Qualcomm, a brand-new vision-language model training, a general-session panel and two fascinating keynote addresses.

This year, we have not one, but two keynote sessions: “The Future of Visual AI: Efficient Multimodal Intelligence,” by Trevor Darrell of the University of California, Berkeley, and “Real-World AI and Computer Vision Innovation at Scale,” by Gérard Medioni, Vice President and Distinguished Scientist at Amazon Prime Video and MGM Studios.

After his keynote, Medioni will join a panel discussion, “Edge AI and Vision at Scale: What’s Real, What’s Next, What’s Missing,” moderated by Sally Ward-Foxton, Senior Reporter at EE Times, and featuring Chen Wu, Director, Head of Perception at Waymo, Vaibhav Ghadiok, Chief Technology Officer at Hayden AI and Vikas Bhardwaj, Director of AI, Reality Labs at Meta. The discussion will focus on how vision and AI projects can go from an idea to being used by millions of people, and the challenges that must be overcome along the way.

In addition to the main program, on the morning of May 20, Jeff Bier, Founder of the Edge AI and Vision Alliance, and Satya Mallick, CEO of OpenCV.org, will lead a three-hour hands-on training session focused on how to use vision-language models in real-world applications. If you’re an engineer, developer or engineering manager eager to take advantage of this new technology, you’ll want to attend.

That afternoon, Qualcomm will be hosting a hands-on workshop, “Accelerating Model Deployment with Qualcomm AI Hub.” This three-hour “Deep Dive” session focuses on empowering developers with knowledge and tools to efficiently deploy optimized models on real devices using the Qualcomm AI Hub and includes opportunities to speak with deployment experts. Qualcomm has made significant advances in the past year, so even if you attended Qualcomm’s Deep Dive session last year, you’ll want to attend to learn what’s new.

2025 Summit Themes

As you explore the diverse sessions and demos crafted by our speakers, panelists and exhibitors, you’ll notice a couple of key themes shaping the future of AI and embedded vision technologies:
