Guillaume Butin, Chief Marketing Officer at Prophesee, demonstrates the company’s latest embedded vision technologies and products at the 2019 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Butin demonstrates the company’s patented Event-Based Vision system, focusing on a new Vibration Monitoring capability for Industry 4.0. In this demonstration, Prophesee’s onboard reference system captures and computes – at the edge – the vibrations of a motor. Event-Based Vision allows for this process to happen continuously, in real-time and in a non intrusive way, providing a new advanced set of tools in the field of predictive maintenance. Butin concludes by introducing the world’s first Event-Based industrial-grade vision system built with Imago Technologies.
