Special Discount for Embedded Vision Alliance Partners!
LONDON, UK – June 14, 2011. The agenda for this year's Video Content Analysis Europe Conference is now available online and features some of the industry's leading minds in the video analytics, security and embedded vision arenas highlighted by an afternoon keynote from Berkeley Design Technology, Inc. Founder & President Jeff Bier.
Hosted by IMS Conferences, Video Content Analysis Europe will be held June 27th & 28th at the Hilton London Paddington Hotel. VCA Europe 2011 will feature case studies from both end-users and integrators focused on the security space while also featuring sessions dedicated to leveraging VCA technology in other verticals.
Jeff will kick of the session titled, “The Coming Revolution: Ubiquitous Intelligent Video” on Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 PM with his presentation titled, “Expanding Opportunities for VCA and Vision Technology.”
Computer vision and video analytics algorithms have been under development for decades. But, with the exception of a few select applications, computer vision technology has not yet been widely deployed. This is about to change.
The key breakthrough enabling the widespread deployment of intelligent video is the availability of extremely high-performance, highly programmable processors that are sufficiently small, inexpensive, and energy efficient for mass markets. In this presentation, Jeff Bier will share BDTI’s independent perspective on the unique processing demands of embedded computer vision applications and discuss how semiconductor companies are deploying new chip architectures to address these applications.
The session will also feature speakers from embedded vision leaders such as Texas Instruments, SpikeNet Technologies and VCA Europe 2011 Silver Sponsor, SenSen Networks.
Additional speaking companies at this year’s event include Aurora, Bosch, Cognimatics, DVTel, i-LIDS, IMS Research, Intel, iOmnicient, Miragex, ObjectVideo, Siemens Building Technologies, SpikeNet Technology, Texas Instruments, Transport for London, VCA Technology, Videalert, Wavestore and many more!
The full list of sessions for this years jam-packed agenda include:
• Learning From End-User VCA Deployments in the Real World
• The Integrator’s Perspective on Successes and Failures in VCA Deployments
• Overcoming the Hurdles Facing the Video Analytics Industry
