CogniVue's blind spot detection demonstration illustrates how the CV220X, a 9x9mm2 package device consuming less than 250mW of power, can be embedded and used in a camera module in a vehicle's side mirror. In this demonstration, vehicles entering a 3 meter blind spot of the host vehicle are detected and tracked. The indicator turns red to alert the driver of a vehicle in the blind spot. This demonstration conforms to ISO standard 17387:2008.
