Back in early April, I shared with you the futuristic concept video that accompanied the public unveiling of Google's Glass augmented reality system. I'll have more to say about Google Glass in the near future, as it received notable technology showcase at the recent Google I/O developer conference. For now, however, I thought I'd share another personal augmented reality concept video with you. This one's called "Sight," and it was developed by Eran May-raz and Daniel Lazo, as their graduation project at the Bezaleal Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Israel.
Versus leveraging a standalone glasses-like device, the characters in "Sight" harness high-tech contact lenses…not unlike those those reportedly under development by DARPA. Compelling? Disturbing? Equal parts both? Enjoy the short video presentation above, and share your thoughts in the comments section.
