The MEMS and sensor component sales portion grew by 36% to $5 billion in 2013 and Future Concepts forecasts the MEMS & sensors to grow another 20% to $6 billion in 2014. The highest growth is biometric image sensor recognition, which grew 221% to 45 million units in 2013 and will grow to 145 million in 2014.
