After a long-standing, successful membership in the NVIDIA Partner Network, Basler AG is elevated to Elite partner-level status. The collaboration provides Basler customers with the opportunity to combine the NVIDIA Jetson platform with vision AI technology even more seamlessly and with an intensified level of support.
Ahrensburg, June 16, 2022 – Basler offers fully integrated hardware and software packages to combine the NVIDIA® Jetson™ platform with vision technology. As of 01 June 2022, the company will now be elevated to the Elite level in the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN). Elite status is exclusively available for ecosystem partner companies that have demonstrated the highest level of competency in NVIDIA GPU-accelerated technologies. The program includes early access for NVIDIA products and technologies, access to on-board Image Signal Processors (ISPs), as well as dedicated support channels to address technical issues. For customers this results in optimized time to market and leaner system setups.
Basler’s offerings with NVIDIA processing boards range from Add-on Camera Kits for the Jetson Nano and Jetson Xavier NX; ready-to-use prototyping kits including a defined cloud connectivity with Amazon Web Services; to full custom solutions combining Jetson AGX Xavier, Jetson TX2 and the latest Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Orin NX with vision technology. In addition, Basler offers services such as application software development, embedded system design and manufacturing, as well as camera design and ISP tuning. Within Basler, a distinct team specializes in combining NVIDIA’s edge AI expertise with image processing, thereby creating lean systems for customer projects with vision capabilities.
”The strong collaboration with NVIDIA solidifies Basler’s capability to provide computer vision solutions, including advanced vision technology, industry-leading edge processing capabilities and application software,” says Dr. Dietmar Ley, CEO of Basler AG. “With full access to NVIDIA’s technology stack and leading edge AI platforms, Basler is able to help our customers deploy state-of-the-art edge AI vision solutions, opening doors for use cases such as autonomous mobile working machines and robotics.”
“NVIDIA Jetson is the world’s leading edge AI and robotics platform, with over a million developers, 6,000 customers and 150 ecosystem partners,” says Deepu Talla, VP of Embedded and Edge Computing at NVIDIA. “Basler’s global footprint as a computer vision supplier and proven track record of supporting Jetson-based products make the company an ideal partner in the NPN.”
Next week, Basler will be showcasing a demo with the new Jetson AGX Orin at “embedded world”, the leading tradeshow for embedded technology. The demo uses AI and vision technology to evaluate and classify bacteria samples thus automating and accelerating medical diagnosis.
