Petri Talala, Vice President and General Manager at Unikie, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products in Business Oulu’s booth at the 2022 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Talala demonstrates an AI-enabled real-time situational awareness solution.
Talala demonstrates how software-based edge AI, sensor fusion and a secure connectivity platform can together create smart spaces which, in this case, will move non-autonomous vehicles automatically inside a parking garage. He showcases a technology collaboration with BMW, Daimler, Ford, and Cariad, targeted at automated valet and factory parking. He concludes by noting that the same real-time situational awareness technology demonstrated in these automotive applications will also have valuable use cases in Industry 4.0.
