Cadence Demonstration of In-vehicle Infotainment

Amol Borkar, Director of Product and Marketing for Vision and AI DSPs at Cadence Tensilica, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2023 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Borkar demonstrates an automotive in-vehicle infotainment system, implemented on a customer’s platform and featuring the Tensilica Vision DSP.

Infotainment is an important component of the automotive experience. The demonstration showcases a reference automotive dashboard featuring a digital instrument cluster and center touch-screen console that are able to run navigation, video playback, rear-view camera and more. The Vision DSP provides the computer vision and AI performance boost that is need to provide “smart” capabilities to many of these applications that we see in the market today.
