Specifically, Lass demonstrates a tablet equipped with a time-of-flight depth sensor developed in partnership with camera manufacturer PMD Technologies.
This sensor fusion demonstration of the combination of 2D data coming from a standard RGB sensor with the 3D data measured by the REAL3 time-of-flight imager enables computational photography applications such as selective sharpening and blurring of objects at specific distances.
