Specifically, Vierra demonstrates inference on the edge using visual wake word and Yolo models using the Akida Edge AI Box to detect and identify people.
The Akida Edge AI Box is the industry’s first edge box based on neuromorphic technology built in collaboration with VVDN Technologies. This scalable, low cost, small footprint neuromorphic AI system, based on the BrainChip Akida AKD1000, is designed for vision-based AI workloads such as video analytics, facial recognition, and object detection.
