January 10, 2019 – For the second time, the popular FRAMOS Tech Days event will be held in North America on February 07, 2019 in San Francisco, CA. Happening on the last day of Photonics West Show (Feb 2-7), FRAMOS Tech Days features exclusive presentations from leading embedded vision technology experts from SONY, INTEL, XILINX, the Embedded Vision Alliance and Pyxalis, and will be discussing current vision development and future innovations. FRAMOS Tech Days Europe will take place in Munich on May 22-23, 2019.
FRAMOS Tech Days provides the latest technical news on image sensors, embedded vision trends, customization and image performance. The event offers the ideal platform for device developers to share information and exchange ideas. Presentations will focus on latest vision technologies to help to understand current industry developments, innovations and solutions to key problems embedded vision engineers and camera developers are facing. Jeff Bier, Chairman and Founder of the Embedded Vision Alliance will talk about the four key trends driving the proliferation of visual perception.
“Suppliers were able to answer technical questions right away and really provided helpful hints” said an R&D engineer that attended the European version of this FRAMOS event last May.
In San Francisco, SONY Semiconductor Solutions Japan will present deep insights on their new sensor roadmaps for consumer and industrial applications and will provide a live demonstration. In addition, SONY will also present their new OLED Microdisplays and Spresense developer boards. Intel will explain how to enhance vision applications easily using depth sensing with its RealSense™ line of technology while XILINX will focus on a discussion on the methods for adapting vision solutions faster with innovative technologies. Customization expert, Pyxalis, will show efficient ways to get high dynamic range images and talk about future sensor trends. In addition to these talks, there will be many opportunities to network with peers and gain additional insight into the markets and solutions being provided in embedded vision.
The FRAMOS Tech Days will be held February 07, 2019 at the Conference Center, 459 Clementina St. in San Francisco.
